I bought a new laptop and it came with ‘Activated Win10 Home’. So I have been afflicted with this ‘Test Mode’ watermark now. I do not have the upgrade now logo in the bottom right corner – I only have the very annoying Test Mode watermark. I tried disabling from the Admin cmd window using the I am Administrator – I double checked that. I reboot it goes away but comes back again later have tried many times. Also when I run the command I actually get an error:.

I did that by clicking on “install anyway” or similar in a dialog by Windows itself. Based on the answer to this question test mode would only be enabled if you disabled the requirement to have signed drivers. So go ahead and make sure signed drivers are actually turned on. You can reverse the process in this answer to do that. Better post it as full answer I would but I have been dealing with users downvoting every answer I submit out of spite.
